I'm exploring the world of cooking from my home in Melbourne, Australia. I know I've become fanatical because I now keep cookbooks by my bed!
Define esurientes? The hungry!
This word pops up in my singing regularly and, for me, the term perfectly combines my passions for good food & good music.

Autumn
Isn't it gorgeous? Our front yard. Late Sunday afternoon.
I always forget we have opposite seasons, here we are in the midst of spring, awaiting summer, and your leaves are turning and winter is coming! It is beautiful though!
I remember reading a post a few months ago about getting all your grandmother's garden goodies, and I had one of those 'smack myself in the head' moments...
Our 'official' start of summer is a week from today!
No leaf fights....yet. But I am about to talk a walk through the golden, leafy streets around my house and watch the sunlight glinting throug the leaves which are fluttering on gentle breezes to the ground....while I listen to Eurovision cock-rock and Bosnian hip-hop! Yeehaa!!!
Oh I never know we can have leave fight.....:p
